DAN J FORD

Born into a working class family, Dan left high school early, enlisting in the Royal Australian Navy, primarily out of sheer boredom.

Over an eleven year service period, Dan served on frigates, destroyers, and also:

  • Was a Royal Guardsman for Queen Elizabeth II multiple times, including at Buckingham Palace.

  • Instructed hand to hand combat, disarming techniques and escalation/de-escalation of force principals to officer cadets from Australia, New Zealand and Singapore at the Australian Defence Force Academy.

  • Lead a fast action, boarding party sweep team on operations in the Persian Gulf. Deployed sweep teams are inserted by roping from helicopters or fast boat boardings, and are at the front line of the fight against terrorism, people smuggling, arms smuggling and illegal poaching.

Whilst on active operations, Dan earned the Australian Service Medal (ASM), The Australian Active Service Medal (AASM) and the International Coalition Against Terrorisim (ICAT) medal with the Iraq clasp.

As an entrepreneur in post service life, Dan managed fitness and lifestyle based businesses.

Rogue Agent’s Tom Wiseman came to him in a series of dreams and universal downloads. Five years later, Rogue Agent, the first full-length book in the Agent series was published.

Dan lives on the Sunshine Coast of Australia with his wife, Shelby and their beloved whippet dogs.
